Just wanted to share this info I have a 1955 es 330 I tried one one those online appraisals I showed 4 pictures and immediately they offer me 2600.0 dollars to me if they can do that with 4 pic it’s worth lots more then that thoughts

Can you post the pictures here?

You might get more, but finding a buyer that has that much spreading around money may take some time. And you’re going to have to bargain back and forth with a lot of people first.

I have all the original parts tuners and bridge. The work was done by a professional at stars guitars in San Francisco no longer around I don’t think

Gibson rubber stamped the serials back then so they can be challenging to read, if it's present at all.

The 330 didnt come out until 58-59, the SN should have the year as the first digit (9 = 1959).

I don't know him but the guy at Mark's Guitar Loft has a good reputation. Offhand I'd guess it's worth $7k minimum provided it doesn't have major issues.

In 6th grade, a kid showed up with something that looked exactly like that for take-your-musical-instrument-to-music-class-day. I had an Epiphone acoustic with a John Denver looking crotchet woven strap, and that kid really upstaged me. I never figured out who the heck would set a 12 year old kid loose with three grand worth of guitar, which is what those were worth in 1982.

Thanks for the pictures. I don’t play guitar but that is really cool.
Me too! I love guitars and own several but can hardly play. I'm 81 years old and just started playing Harmonica about 4 years ago and surprisingly I don't think I'm doing too bad. It's fun anyway!

Wonder if you was to send Norman from Norms rare guitars in California he might be able to give you better idea. Pic serial number etc.. all the big players go thru his store. He has guitars stuffed away in warehouse in crates etc.. you can find him on you tube as well. Used to watch his channel. Beautiful guitar. All the pics of guitars are pretty cool.
