Does anyone else seal their EDC Ammo?

Several times a week I find myself around and occasionally in brackish water. Of course my pistol gets a detail strip, clean and lube but what about the ammo? I seal the primers and bullets with thinned down nail polish.

MANY years ago, when I used to hunt the San Juans, I would seal my .30-06 hand-loads with my wife's clear coat nail polish.

I don't have occasions to hang out in the rain these days, nor do I ride a motor cycle any longer, so I don't care if my ammo is sealed or not...Back when I was the police though, yeah, I was either using military ball which was already sealed on both ends, or Winchester Super-X FMJ which got a touch of my wife's red fingernail polish on the primer end.

I tested some 38 spl rounds years ago. Posted that on here. As I recall 12 rounds of factory and 12 of handloads. None sealed. I put them in a cup of water for 5 mins at the range. They all shot without any problems. I expected primers to be duds maybe some slower to ignite. Nope, all worked.

If yo----
If there is sufficient neck tension to hold a bullet, I doubt that any water will make it's way in. Same for primers.

That said, I just don't carry when I am swimming ;)
Also if you carry while swimming everyone will KNOW you're not happy to see them, in more ways than one.
