I'm content with 5 rounds of 9mm or .38 Spcl., as opposed to 6 rounds of .32. I've carried both .38 and 9mm revolvers. I've chronographed a fair amount of .38+P and 9mm in the little 2" and 3" revolvers. Ballistics with these little 9mm revolvers are better than some might assume. I've only encountered one manufacturer's .38+P that generates ballistics approximating 9mm +P and +P+ ammo, the Underwood 125 JHP and 158 grain SWC.
The 940 and LCR are both good little 9mm revolvers. My older 940 and SP101 have the old groove in the top strap fixed sights, just not as good for me as the adjustables on the LCRx. Also my 940 suffers sticky extraction with anything hotter than standard pressure ammunition. In contrast, the LCRx and SP101 handle the hottest 9mm, and cases extract easily. The recently reintroduced 940s look good, and perhaps sticky extraction with the hotter ammo will not be an issue with them...

Some time ago, I did some informal crimp jump testing with my 2" 9mm S&W 940 revolver. I happened to have some Federal 124 grain HST +P, and Winchester and IMI 124 grain NATO at the range with me. Shooting 8 rounds, leaving one round unfired produced approx. .002" crimp jump/bullet creep with both the IMI and Winchester 9mm NATO. The Federal HST allowed approx. .050" bullet creep.
That being said, I have owned several 5, 6 and 7-shot 9mm revolvers. I've used many kinds of factory 9mm ammo in the various revolvers. I've never experienced any crimp jump/bullet creep interfering with normal operation of any of those revolvers...YMMV

Nor the recoil ;)

Not all .357 snub nose revolver are hard to shoot. This one is very mild

I have to admit that recoil from my LCR is no joke noticeable, but not enough to prevent me from shooting it.

Any issues with the Diamondback? I thought they were pretty poor quality. Or is this a Colt Diamondback?
38 Special. I have the SP 101, only 5 in the cylinder but I can hit 1 MOB (minute of body)

Diamondback's been trying to come back for many years now. I don't think they are necessarily worse than modern S&W anymore. The SDR is a pretty decent knock-off of a K6, except that I don't understand why they didn't put a bobbed hammer on it.
My snubbie is a Speed Six chambered for the .38 Spl. Ammo is either the discontinued 130 gr +P Federal Micro HST indoors or Speer 135 Grain +P short barrel Gold dots and I have confidence in it. If I carry a 9mm it is a 5" Springfield Armory Ronin
