I’ve overlooked the .327 Magnum up till now. I ordered a Lipsey’s SP101 and should have it by the end of next week. I already have dies and bullets so just need to order brass!

I love the 32's. I have an SP101 and LCR in 327 Mag. I would love to get a Single Seven in 327 as well.

I think you will really like it,,, however it will most likely need some spring & action work, they can be crusty when new…
I personally prefer the Hogue Grip.
Find yourself a box of American Eagle 100gr JSP, 1500 fps. I reload 99% of the time but back when brass was very hard to get bought a box to get some brass,,, I have no idea what they load it with, it's bark will get your attention, and the velocity is right up there….
Definitely worth the extra cost, it will get your attention.

When Ruger came out with the .32 H&R magnum,, AND in a Bisley framed revolver,, I was sure it would not be popular and would quickly become collectable.
Then I got one & shot it.
Oh how wrong I was.
When the .327 came out,,I quickly snagged me a Single-Seven in it. I've never regretted it. But I do know a lot of vermin has a fatal dislike for it.

I have a first year production single six 32 H&R, a Bisley single six 32 and an S&W UC 32. Been kind of reading and contemplating converting the Bisley to 327. Not quite convinced if it’s doable or not.

DRAM40A1,,, I'd do a very careful study of the .32 Single-Six models, before I'd go to modifying one. Some are quite collectable.

Here's 3 of my 327s, I also have a Single Seven, a Taurus and a S&W 31-1 bored to 32 H&R mag.
I was lucky. I had shot Precision pistol for years and was shooting a 32 in centerfire so I have a fondness for 32s. I seen a Blackhawk 8-shot in 327 magnum and bought it. Never regretted that. Then one lunch break I did something I rarely did during lunch and went into a local gun shop. They had what looked like a new GP100 and the owner said he would make a good deal on it because he bought it as some display gun and got a good price on it. He then said it is an odd caliber, 327 magnum. And that is how I got my 2 327 revolvers.

I believe that to truly appreciate your Single Seven you have to explore the full breadth of .32 calibers it can run.
32 longs lightly loaded are as fun as rimfire. A great way to put a centerfire in a new shooters hands. 32 H&R is great for bunny busting as well as practice for self defense. You get more recoil and blast but not too much for that newer shooter. .327 gets you to a 9mm experience. Plenty of recoil and plenty of blast, a serious upgrade for a new shooter.

I have a really nice 31-1 and picked up an extra cylinder and yoke recently to bore out to .32 H&R so as not to molest the original. Now I'm looking for a deal on a reamer. Did you do the job yourself?
I did it myself. I can let you borrow my reamer if you want to. I picked my 31-1 up in unfired condition at a gun show for $400 a year and a half ago.

Here's the 31-1 that I, too, found a year and a half ago. It came with diamond Magnas but is an early 70's model, so I swapped them out with a correct set I had on hand.
Is the birdshead one of those Lipsey's 7 shooters? Thats a good lookin gat. How is it to shoot?

The 327 is my go to caliber. I have a few. Two 327 Blackhawks, 3 Single Sevens (one is the Birdshead) SP 101, GP100 and the Henry Big Boy. I shoot them all except one of the Blackhawks, it’s the Two Tone. It’s remained unfired. I load everything for them, mostly with a home cast lead bullet, from mild to wild.
