Looking into purchasing a Gen 2 Ranch Rifle

As the title indicates, looking into getting a Gen 2 Ranch Rifle in either 350 L or 7.62X39 .. leaning towards a 7.62X39 .. being I have quite a bit 7.62X39 ammo ..
Checking to see if any members here have imput on the Gen 2 RR ?
 
I've had one in 6.5 Grendel for a bit over 2 years. It's MOA with Hornady SST or AAIC 'Sabre Tip" and 'good enough' with Hornady FMJ, Federal MSR, and even WOLF steel case FMJ.
My only complaint is related to feeding issues which might not be a problem with the 7.62 which uses Mini 30 mags.
Unless you're in one of the states that require the use of 'straight wall' rounds such as the 350 Legend, I can't see ANY REASON to go that route. The 350 may(?) be the answer to a problem most of us don't have. :rolleyes:
The 7.62x39 is an OK 200 yard deer cartridge and far better for just shooting or vermin control. Even better as you say you already have 7.62 ammo. If you choose to use the 7.62 for deer/coyote, I've found the Hornady ammo using SST bullets to be excellent.
 
I have the gen2 in 7.62x39
In my back yard range I can shoot out to 200 yards.
The gen2 is a nice rifle with low recoil.
I have only shot subsonic loads. I have a suppressor on it. I am very happy with the rifle
 
I’ve got a Gen 2 ranch in 300 blk I’m fairly impressed by it so far. The trigger is very nice. I did just swap the stock because I wanted more adjustability than what the factory one allowed.

I don’t live in a straight wall state .. but .. the 350 Legend is popular in this area … seems like the low recoiling 350 L with its larger diameter & deep penetration works extremely well on deer and black bear in the mountains of TN and NC …
