Hey guys i'm in the market for a couple of holsters.
Looking for a 1100-12 to fit a 4" N frame Smith &Wesson and the other one is an 1100-41 that fits the 4 5/8 Blackhawk.
Let me know if anyone has one or both before I buy new.
Thanks
Scott

Lots of used holsters on E-Bay. First choice for me would be Lawrence.
Older Bianchi and Safariland are nice if nobody has ruined them by incorrectly oiling them.
El Paso, Galco, Bianchi, Black Hills, Simply Rugged and other quality makers are other good choices.
Triple K and Hunter would be about the bottom of my list I'm afraid.
I'm a bit of a snob about quality leather, sorry.

Lawrence was a manufacturer. They've been out of business for quite a few years now.
One of the hardest tasks with them is finding the correct model for your revolver.
Seller's descriptions are often just plain wrong about what fits what.
Safariland hasn't made leather holsters in many years but nice used ones are still around.
Bianchi were U.S. made but are now made in Mexico.

Lawrence holsters have become collectible and can be priced accordingly.
Best bet for a new quality holster made to your specs would probably be from Simply Rugged.
Check out their website on line.

Does it have to be Hunter brand? I have a bunch of old holsters, and a junk 4" M29 to try in them. I think a couple of them might be Bucheimers, or something like that.

It wouldn't have 6be necessarily but I've had great luck with Hunter .
If you wouldn't mind you could text a picture of them to me @
775-401-1016 with your asking prices.
Thanks Scott Compton

Cal, have you considered the Uncle Mike's Sidekick line of nylon holsters? I have experience with quite a few of these. They're VERY well made, very durable, and VERY reasonably priced. Rating: Snakeworthy! ;) (y)
