P365 after they solved the broken striker problem. Sig has created a track record of letting customers find the problems with new releases.
I looked at the P365 when I had problems with the LC9. The Sig problems you mentioned are what drove me to the G43. Also, 2 guys I know locally had just sent their Sigs back for service. After going thru sending guns back to Ruger the last thing that interested me was buying another one with known ( at that time ) problems.

Anyway, sorry we're off topic of your MKII's.

I was born about 4 years before Ruger introduced their first handgun. I owned my first two Ruger handguns by the time I was probably 24, a single-six and a standard semi-auto. During my later years I owned a handful of different MKII pistols. I always had a keen interest in target grade .22 caliber semi-auto pistols, and have owned Colt, High Standard, Browning, Smith & Wesson, and most of them were more expensive pistols than my MKII Rugers, but the Rugers were always special to me. I found that the MKII Rugers needed some help from Volquartsen internals to bring their true potential out, but I enjoyed the work as I could do it all myself. I have really enjoyed reading this thread. (y)
