Contender,Strider45,, it would have had to been no earlier than 1968 as that was the first year of production. And if it's a 4-digit gun under 9304,, it's a 1968 gun. in 1969,, they added the prefix of 50-xxxxx.
While $98 seems such a small price,, in 1968 or so,, it was still a fair amount.
