SR1911 vs. Range Officer
I have a RO and SR1911. Both have been accurate and reliable but if I only had one it would be the RO.

SR1911 Commander, 7+1, or 8+1??
Years ago I had problems with 8-round mags and I stopped using them. I haven't had a problem since using 7 round mags.

I added a new blue Pony to my stable today--Colt Gold Cup NM
If Ruger doesn't offer a nice blue 1911 soon, I may have to look for a Colt.

I hope Ruger is watching. One of my next pistols will be another 9mm 1911.

Today is the day. Brand new 1911 out to the range.
After a few trips to the range the 1911 addiction will begin.

My Mini-14 is chambered for 6.8 spc. The only problem that I've had was getting magazines for it.

Mini 14?
I saw a mini 223 and a 6.8 last week end at a gun shop. The 6.8 was about $200 more than I paid for mine several years ago.

Finally got a SR1911. A few Questions?
I haven't had a problem with the Ruger mags or other mags in any of my 1911 pistols.

Survived a squib
I had that experience years ago when I was new to reloading. I've been much more careful to see it doesn't happen again.
