NOVAK SIGHTS
I like the Novak sight and have no issues with them. Some of the newer tactical rear sights have a ledge to allow the sight to rack the slide (10-8) comes to mind. I think Kimber started the trend with the SIS pistols for the LAPD special unit.- thetrio_94043

Do I need a Redhawk?
I have a Redhawk and a Model 29 and I would say keep the S&W and buy a Redhawk. I like shooting the S&W with lighter loads and plinking, but when loading the heavy stuff... the extra weight and strength of the Redhawk are comforting. I also agree that having ports on a handgun are not worth...- thetrio_94043
