As a chemist, I must strongly advise against the OP procedure. It is NEVER a good thing to have all of your starting materials "react at once" to create an "EXTREME" reaction that reaches boiling temps. Just my .02.

the mag loader did nothing to fix the problem for those whose magazines were too stiff. Keep in mind, the gun already came with a mag loader. The other one did the same thing as that one, it was just fancier.
I think this could be a major disaster if not addressed and fixed by Ruger ASAP. Like I said before, mine only had this slightly, but I only had a couple hundred rounds through it. All SR9 owners need to keep their eyes open and inspect the barrel after each use.
My barrel had slight peening in it. VERY SLIGHT. You really had to look to see it. What you are showing me is quite substantial and I would be sending it back ASAP.
