    WC GP100

where does one find a set of those grips? will the sp101 grips fit the gp100? I had a pair of Hogue aftermarket I had from a SP101 I sold last year,(I know-stupid of me), and after seeing that photo tried them. They were about and inch too short for the GP100. Don't know about factory...

Agree the factory sights are less than ideal on the standard GP; especially the front. There are several mgs. of not too expensive after market sights, here's one example...

    WC GP100

Just keep looking. I shopped hard last week for a 4 inch GP100 SS w/adj sights, finally found one from a local dealer,(he had one only). That one cost me $579 + tax. I hated paying it but in today's market the sellers are driving the cart. At the local gun show I missed a couple of used ones in...

GP100 357 6" what is your most accurate handload?????

I've also loaded the same load but substituted 8.5 gr of Unique for a very tame load with same accuracy. Sorry but...

    buffing out stainless steel

Scothcbright is a good idea - I've also used "SIMICHROME POLISH" - Midway or your local shop, a 1.76 oz tube is about $9.00. It's a polishing paste you use with a cotton cloth. I've used on all my SS pistols and was very pleased with it as a final polish.

    ruger sp 101

Great ideas for cleaning - also why I've started loading my .38's in .357 cases. Just bump your favorite .38 load about 10%. I'm using 3.2 Bullseye under 148 gr HBWC Then when I shoot my big loads I just shoot them and don't worry about over pressure etc.
