    Cheap Portable Target Stand

IrvJr, I used a table saw, set the blade shallow and pushed it alongt the fence. You could clamp it between a couple pieces of wood and use a skill saw though....

    327 Federal in Buckeye

What I mean by chased out is that it's the same diameter chamber but longer, so a reamer is used to chase out the shoulder of the cartridge length to the 327 specs. By shoulder I mean where the case diameter meets the bullet diameter. It can be done on a cylinder long enough for the OAL of the...

    327 Federal in Buckeye

2dogs is right about that. I meant that it will fit in the length of the cylinder, but of course will have to be chased out to 327 with a reamer. Thanks Fermin :)

    327 Federal in Buckeye

Yep, not only will it fit, but you have plenty of room for extra long bullets as well. Below is a picture of the one I hunt with and I took this deer with mine when it first came out.... http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c7/MikeCole/327%20Deer/

My Single Six in 327 Special!

Harton, Gallagher, Bowen, and bone stock Ruger. Seems you can't go wrong with a 32 in any flavor!! :D :D I haven't got to play with mine much, but am taking it out tomorrow. I took a deer with the factory ammo when it first came out and I had Hamilton chamber both of my Buckeye's 32 H&R...

Need a little info. Not a Ruger (PICS)

I have the model 939 which I think is just a newer version. Mine is a nine shot, kinda heavy. The trigger is the worst thing about it and probably not easily home cured, but it's a good shooting gun. I had a red dot adapted to mine and it would keep 7 out of 9 rounds inside an inch if I did...

    bunch of "old army" questions

Yes it's safe. There's a notch between the chambers to let the hammer down into so it won't be sitting on a cap. The Old Army is Ruger strong. Tx Gun Runner has a good enjoyable load there and there are many more to be sure. Using a good black powder or BP substitute should keep you safe...

    Any pics of Turnbull guns?

He said this was the first time he'd done one on a barrel this short and was surprised it came out as well as it did. Even more surprised it shoots like it does. It started as a 45 Colt and he used a 44 caliber barrel back bored from the forcing cone to .452 and tapered down to the original...

Man Scott, I'd love to take a trip like that if I could get the time off!! Going down to Panama City at the end of next month for the Thunder Beach Ralley. My brother wanted to take a week and ride the coast all the way around the keys and back up to NC and come back across the Dragon on the...
