I only use one because it makes the action just a little quieter, and the fact it was free. I just took a piece of Tygon tubing I had and a short rod I cut to length to put in the tubing. Why buy what you can fabricate.
Depends on the dealer. When I find the gun I want I call my listed dealer and let him order it. He doesn't charge me the shipping if I can wait and let him receive the gun with his regular order.
The Lee Classic Turret just happens to be the one that I'm looking at. I found a starter kit at a pretty good price, hopefully it'll be about the same price when I get the funds for it.
Well, after weighing all the pros and cons (thank you to those who posted), I went ahead and ordered the stainless birdshead 32 H&R mag. Now I just have to wait till it comes in next week so I can pick it up. It's gonna be a long week. I guess my next purchases will be reloading equip. :D
.357 Montado's are still available from Davidson's. I got mine for about $195 less than msrp about 6 months ago. Right now it is listed at $217 less than msrp at the same shop. http://www.galleryofguns.com/Genie/Defa ... &pid=&inv=

Been getting the itch to buy another SS. I'm looking at a .32 H&R, but considering the current price and lack of availability on the ammo I'm just not sure. I don't reload and don't shoot enough to get into it so that doesn't help. I'm looking for reasons why I should/shouldn't pick one up...
Now I know why I had to settle for a 6 1/2" instead of a 5 1/2" model, or was it because I sat on the fence too long. Mine is a 265 series. The font is all the same size (measured with calipers) with "instruction manual" being in italics.
According to the atf's own website, a replacement gun isn't subject to the brady act. I got the following from their site.
