Nothing is "wrong" with the black one, I just like the idea of one that is shinny!!! 8) In my case just cosmetic.... other people I don't know why.

I'm not sure it is the gun in my case, I think it is just me. I just have to smack it harder when loaded than when empty. I guess it's like so many other things. . . . . .

I noticed while I was shopping for my SR9, some guns have a "polished" feed ramp, others like the SR do not. My question: Is their an advantage to this? It would not be hard to do, and might be a fun custom thing I could do myself. Could it cause damage, cause some disadvantage that I'm not...

I have to really "slam" mine in or they wont engage and just fall out. they are 17rd mags, and it only seems to happen when they are full to 17rds, but I am new to handguns so it could be operator error too. :?

I would like one also, I am thinking about taking the one out of my SR9 and taking it to some one who could make me one. if they had the part I would think it would be easy to copy.

After I got mine, opened it up took the "striker" out cleaned it all out with gun scrubber, and put a drop or two of oil on it, did not have a single issue with it, I have put prob 300 rounds through it no issues,
