I bought my P89DC in CA in Sep 1990 so they were out then. That one had the laynard ring and was stainless, but had only the left side decock, right side (southpaw) was a plug.

What to say. U may just need to go back to do it again if possible. Or just shoot. No points for beauty here.

Don't get me wrong. Quite a Ruger fan. But I have had this for years w/o any issues and that is what is carried in the pocket when needed. This is the DAO version. All Stainless. Not a scratch.

I swapped my stock rubber grips with Hogue Goncalo Alves. No pain at all. Gun looks beautiful (see link below). This size is a little bigger so I can get a good grip (not that the rubber was bad). The wood grip fits perfectly. :D Gunbroker has folks selling it at a discount...
