Absolute CRAP ammo. Perfecta (9mm.) Runs good now!

It is manufactured by Fiocchi in Italy and sold under a Tula label. I've fired a bunch of it is a few differnt 9mm pistols and never had a problem.

    New LC9s

I've heard that info too but the first polymer/steel was H&K which is closer to the new poly guns of today. Virtually any firearm today has a lot of DNA traceable to firearms built decades ago.

    SR9c "PRO" ?

All of the SR series including the 9e still have mag disconnects installed at the factory. Have you actually had a round chambered, removed the mag and fired a round? That would be the only way to tell. On the SR series, you can pull the trigger when the mag is removed and the striker will...

    New LC9s

Again, when did Keltec make a striker fired single stack? Even on the LC9, Ruger put in features that weren't on the Keltec. For instance, you said you had ejector problems. Have you looked at the difference between the two company's ejectors? The Rugers (both model of LC9) have mag...

    SR9c "PRO" ?

If it fires without the magazine then someone already removed the mag disconnect which simply blocks the striker from moving fully forward to contact the primer when you pull the trigger.. Probably what you are seeing it normal correct operation.

    New LC9s

So Ruger's "new design" copied Keltec? Keltec makes a single stack striker fired 9mm. News to me.

2nd time back to ruger for repair

I'm surprised that no one has asked you which brand ammo you were using. So I will. What brand ammo were you using when you got the light strikes?

    LCP vs LC9 Feel

I disagree. While there is more ME, I have fewer issues with the LC9. I quit shooting my LCP after about 4 mag (25 rounds or so) but can comfortably run a couple of hundred rounds thru my LC9s. The LC9 has significantly more handgrip area and firearm weight to temper the 70% more energy of...

    sr9c light primer strikes

Are you putting a lot of lube in the striker channel after you clean it? It should be run almost dry.

will sr9c light primer strikes ever go away??

He also appears to reload. It could be an issue with the way he seats his primers, too. Have to assume that since he doesn't provide more info, one of the posts "fixed" his problem.

will sr9c light primer strikes ever go away??

SR series owners need to learn how to clean the striker channel. Ruger has a video on their website on removing the striker. It will get dirty over time. Mine needs to get cleaned roughly every 1000 rounds. Most (if not all) firearms need more comprehensive cleaning than a simple field...
