Went to Wall Mart today for some ammo...shelves pretty much bare...anyhow I was lucky to get a box of 50 Winchester 9mm luger 115GR. full metal jacket for $12.49 tax not included...(6% tax) Is this about what you would pay for the same in your area? They had no 38spl's, no 357mag,'s no 22lr's...

By all means save up a little more and get a single six...You will absolutely love it...I shoot mine a lot...22/22mag...Great gun.

Thanks DGW...I knew aluminum cased ammo could not be reloaded but never thought about resale value.

Can someone tell me the pro's and con's of using aluminum cased ammo in sp 101 357 mag...new to this...seems a lot cheaper but if lesser quality and shell expansion is an issue i would not use it...thanks.

Pretty much new into this sport...used to shoot years ago but nothing to speak of...just bought a new SP 101 in 357mag a few weeks ago to add to my small Ruger collection...man am i impressed with this gun...for a 3" barrel i can shoot 8" groups at 12-15 yards first time out...old eyes and...
