    The new SR9c

Well sorry to hear folks are having trouble with the Slide Release. So far mine works fine either way. The slide relaese button works fine and the "slingshot" method works as well. Very happy with this gun so far.

Can I have a Taurus autoloader opinion from some Ruger guys?

I don't know abot the G2 but I have a couple of 24/7's, a OSS, and never had any problems out of any of them. The 24/7's have 1000+ rounds thru them. My wife has a PT111Ti that broke on us at the range several weeks back. Sent it to Taurus for a full FREE repair. Had it back in about 4 weeks...

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

No worries, when I first started carrying I would not carry or nightstand it until I had shot it. I suppose, like was mentioned before I just get it in my head that the odds are in my favor that it will go bang weather untested or not. It do not disagree that it is a good idea to put it thru the...

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

In that case I suppose I would be a in tragic situation. However, what is the distinction between carrying around the house or outside? Threats come at anytime - at any place. I mean if it's a lemon- it'a a lemon indoors or out, and if it fails it's not the only gun at my- or my wifes disposal...

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

Yeah- I'am! I like to carry a new gun to see if I'm gonna like it. If I don't like it for carry there is no point in shooting it, because I will probably get rid of it. Like I stated in the thread I intend to go to the range with it today, I don't consider carrying for a day to get the feel of...

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

Yeah- I usually skim over the high points, of the manual and I did with this one as well, but never saw the part about dry-firing until I pulled it back out and read it. Oh well- hopefully will be off to the range sometime today.

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

I carried it all day today with IWB holster, carries real nice, I especially like the slimness of it ,very comfortable carry gun. I'm hitting the range with it tomorrow, but for now I guess I should get a cup of coffee and read the owners manual a little closer. As far as guns go I own all...

    SR9c... GOT IT!!!!! **PIC UPDATE**

  I'm glad I found this forum, I had no idea that dry-firing without the mag could cause damage. I just got my SR9c yesterday and have dry-fired 2 or 3 times without the mag  Hope I didn't tear it up before I even get to the range. Anyway good to be here on the forum...
