    MY NEWEST "NEW" RUGER!

I share your preference for the shortest-tubed BH/SBH. The proportions and balance are just perfect, to my taste. I found it by chance in a gunshop near Florence. Till that moment I had been "sure" that the 4-5/8" had never been imported in Italy. And there it was. I came for my Browning Pro-40...

    Let's see some bikes.

Well yes, Italy is a dazzling combination of positives and negatives (got too much of the latter recently, but who knows, I afford myself some hope in our current emergency government  ). When I'm able to roam around countryside or Tuscany or such places, I feel good again towards our...

    Let's see some bikes.

Well it makes a lot of sense to ride dual-purpose steeds over there. By the way, I dunno the reason, that kind of bikes is generally referred to as "Enduro" here in Italy. From the American - Spanish feel this word gives me, I assume it derives from long range dirt races such as those in Baja...

    Let's see some bikes.

So here's my street all-around trundler, Suzuki Bandit 1250 in "Traveller" rig. A good excuse to show off some nice Italian landscape in the background :D Right side with dandy Arrow end can, for improved safety of course (loud pipes...) :D And another glance to some fine dusk scenery...

An old friend comes home! REDHAWK Goodness

Mine dates back to 1988 :) Here showing off muscle at the "smaller" SBH I should try straight-shape Pachmayrs. My small hands won't fit in those finger recesses. By GfA

.44 Magnum Experiences: Redhawk VS. Super Blackhawk

Thanks for the advice. In Italy we don't get Unique, but the performance target is ok to know. Right now I'm training on dry fire to try get hold of the DA pull. Trouble is, I have always noticed that I am a GREAT shot when dry firing.... it's when I have live ammo in there, that my peformance...

.44 Magnum Experiences: Redhawk VS. Super Blackhawk

That's an interesting piece of info. I'm totally unable at shooting DA, this makes me feel I'm not using many of the qualities of my RH. I like its being robust and an all-rounder, capable of accuracy and quicka action if needed. It's sad to use it like a "SA with a swing out cylinder". Makes me...

    Short-barreled single actions

I'm fonder of the jazzed - up SBH styling, but there's no denying, SA guns are beautiful and SA shorties even more! :D By GfA

    Short-barreled single actions

I'm just too fond of the proportions of the SBH shorty. Compact, yet sleek, yet muscular, with that tough-looking unfluted surface. Mine is bone stock, secondhand, has some "play" but will shoot way better than its owner  There you go! "Bad boy" shot Big muzzles mean STOMP :D...
