I would not do it. The LCP is copird from the P3AT which is a definite DO NOT DRY FIRE. Use snap caps. I can't find anything in the LCP manual with a quick look, but I would err on the side of safe. If you don't have it, here is the LCP manual: http://www.ruger.com/products/_manuals/lcp.pdf
