I picked up a .44 magnum (model 0813) two days ago. The front sight isn't canted but it does have a couple of flaws. When I took it out of the box three things jump out at me. The finish on the cylinder doesn't match the rest of the gun, it appears duller, the rear sight was adjusted all the way...

That ejector is the secondary ejector, the primary is part of the magazine. That's the one that counts when you're shooting the gun. I'd install a VQ extractor, get a new factory magazine, and get a new secondary ejector from Brownells (780-010-044WB Ejector Mfr Part: B80). If that doesn't cure...
