    RPR Gen 2

Samson does make upper picatinney rail sections for the Gen 2 RPR in 2", 4", 6" or 8" sections. They are held in by a drilled and tapped bracket which fits underneath and within the curve of the upper part of the handguard. Go to Samson's website - Evolution Accessories: Samson Manufacturing...

    RPR Gen 2

You misunderstand. I would like to add the top rail on the handguard. The Gen 2 comes w/o the handguard upper rail. I don't see anything in the Ruger store. Who makes the upper handguard for the Gen 2?

    RPR Gen 2

The Gen 2 RPR comes without the picatinney rail on the handguard. Who makes the handguard picatinney rails. I have no problem with scope mounting and want to mount iron sights.

Mk III receiver to grip fitting

I have a Mk III 22/45 w/hunter style 4.5 in bbl that I'd like to change to a Mk III grip. When fitting the upper to the grip frame, which part is fitted? As they are now, they will not fit. It appears easiest to file the slot on the upper receiver and increase the bevel to receive the lower grip...

    Bisley conversion OMV

I recently acquired an original Vaquero, 7 1/2" bbl, SS, plow handle, 44 mag, 55 series. I would like to convert it to Bisley. I have an opportunity to obtain another Vaquero, SS, Bisley, 357, 58 series. My question is would the swap of grips and parts be "drop-in" or would they be a mis-match...

    Bisley Vaquero grips

Will the new Bisley Vaquero grips fit the Bisley Vaqueros? Are they the exact same size? Thanks, Dennis

    Ruger Bisley frame fit

Still too cold and too much snow to go shooting. Probably next week - temp is supposed to get to 40+ one day. I did measure my cylinder throats - all at .431. I'm using 200 gr RNFP hardcast which measure .4305 so I should be good to go.

    Ruger Bisley frame fit

The Vaquero Bisley 44 Mag was returned this week. They refitted the frame and filed to fit. They completely buffed the mating areas as well as the pins which are now flat rather than convex. It is a very nice job and the revolver is fully functional with no hammer or trigger binding issues. It...

Thanks for the response. I'll get a Wolff.

    Mainspring

Is the mainspring for the series 6 revolvers the same as or very close to the mainspring on the Vaqueros? Can a Vaquero mainspring be used as a suitable substitute on a series 6 revolver? Thanks, Dennis

    Ruger Bisley frame fit

I called Ruger, explained the problem, they checked the serial number, it was originally mfr as a Bisley. Asked me to send it in for warranty repair or replacement. Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this takes care of the problem. Dennis

    Ruger Bisley frame fit

I loosened all the grip frame screws and tried to work it into alignment. However, once I tightened the screws, it went right out of alignment. I disassmbled the entire revolver and worked with the frame and receiver. It appears the problem stems from the grip frame screw and pivot lock being...

    Ruger Bisley frame fit

I recently acquired a Ruger Bisley .44 mag Vaquero, 57-. The fit of the grip frame is off center to the left by about .020 and causes the hammer to bind. I think someone probably wanted to convert from plow handle to Bisley and it didn't work. Anyone run into a similar problem? Recommendations...
