WTS: New Eagle Secret Service grips Ruger GP100/SR (FL)

Purchased these new direct from Eagle almost 2 months ago for my Alaskan, which I have since sold. These rosewood grips are new without any marks. Would prefer a local sale (Orlando to Flagler Beach) instead of shipping. Link to Eagle site and SS grips...

    Grip swap for the Alaskan?

Yes, they do but the monogrip on the 4" Redhawk is called a Bantam grip and looks to be a bit shorter than the standard monogrip on the Super Redhawks. I'm guessing they will fit but I figure fellow members here would be in the know. Ruger doesn't show the Bantam's on their site, just the longer...

    Grip swap for the Alaskan?

I prefer the Hogue Mono grip that comes on the 4.20" Redhawk. Does anyone know if these will fit on the Alaskan? If so, anyone have a pic that they can post up here? Thanks in advance.

    LCR/"j" frame comparison?

It's not the "look" I dislike about the lock. Granted, J-Frames are classics but for me - I was looking for a lightweight snub that is built to shoot 357Mag w/o an internal lock that may or may not fail during firing.

    LCR/"j" frame comparison?

There is still a difference. I choose to use a 357 Mag and do not care to "have" to remove something I do not want in the first place. If S&W would make a 340 M&P w/o the lock - I would buy it.

    LCR/"j" frame comparison?

Both are great choices. For me, I wanted a light weight carry that could chamber 357 Mag if I desired. Came down to the LCR and a S&W 340M&P. Besides a wide margin in price, in my mind I just can't get over the internal lock that S&W incorporates - especially in a Scandium frame gun. So I went...

Imagine if Ruger actually sold an LCR in a 357 caliber!

For a CCW, the LCR is my choice too. The 357's do exsist down here in FL. Here's a pic of mine.

    LCR 357

Just recently purchased one of these. Have not been to the range yet. Can any fellow members share their experences with this model and any issues I should expect? I'm figuring that this should be no more viloent to fire magnum loads than a S&W 340 I had a while back. Thanks in advance

    LCR .357 RANGE REPORT!

Nice report and Thanks. I am thinking of buying one of these and was wondering how they would hold up firing magnum loads (both gun and shooter ;) )

    Boot Grips for the LCR?

I had posted this question in the body of another thread but figure it would get more exposure as it's own thread. Any fellow members know of any Boot Grips being produced for the LCR? Thanks

Does your LCR have a rattle?

LOL - I did the same exact thing you did when I arrived home with my new LCR. Only difference is that I did a search here and up popped a few threads regarding this and I was able to go to sleep with no worries. 8)

Can I get a Bisley grip for my LCR?

I would like to get a set of boot grips for the LCR. Don't suppose anyone has heard of any on the market?
