    primers

Would it be safe to use large pistol magnum primers while reloading the 38-40 WCF? Would I need to decrease the powder charge to compensate for the magnum primer?

    Sonic cleaners

As I said in a recent post I am getting back into reloading. I am trying to step up my reloading game. I'm going to get a sonic cleaner. I only reload handgun calibers and the only necked down cartridges I reload are 32-20, 38-40 and a JD Jones wildcat cartridge. I've checked out some sonic...

    Getting back into reloading.

I'm getting back into reloading and have gotten most of my gear unpacked and my "gun room" set up and organized. I have about three pounds of various powders and about 2,000 primers. They are about 4 years old and always kept in my house in climate-controlled settings. Are they still safe to use?

    WANTED: MAXIMUM SERIAL NUMBERS!

Coogs, I have noticed a very little bit of cutting on my top strap. I'm not sure if I did it or the previous owner. I didn't know I should not use H110 to load for this gun. Did I understand you correctly in the last post that even if you use slower powders and heavier bullets you will still get...

Yep you are correct. The prefix is 600. Sorry about that.

    IMR 4227

Yes I hear they are with h-110. But I heard there is another powder that's not to harsh on them.

    IMR 4227

So I'm guessing I should quit buying H-110? I have a hundred rounds of reloads for my Maximum I'm scared to shoot. I see my top strap starting to erode. I wonder if I could buy the insert that came on my Smith M&P snubby and put one on my Maximum so I can shoot those rounds instead of pull those...

    WANTED: MAXIMUM SERIAL NUMBERS!

Mine is a 7 1/2 inch. I got the letter from Ruger back when letters were free. I've moved several times since my "gun room" was in full effect so can't say when Ruger said it was shipped. I put some pretty...pretty pricey Hogues on it. Serial # 610-01003.

Walrus Ivory Grips for a Blackhawk (Pics Posted)

I Have a beautiful pair of Walrus Ivory grips for sale. I bought them off a guy stationed in Alaska in the late 60's. He made them himself from a piece of tusk he had found. He even made the screw out of ivory. He said it took him 12 tries to make the screw. He also claimed the pouch he made to...

    Number of .327 mags manufactured

I was under the impression that they were no longer in production. I had a hard time finding mine a little over a year ago. I also saw them going for $1,000.00 on gun broker. I'm not really up to date on Ruger production or collecting. I do love those Blachawks though.

    Number of .327 mags manufactured

I was actually wondering about the number of all stainless steel 327's.

Could anybody tell me how many Blackhawks were made by Ruger in the .327 magnum caliber?

    Grip inlays

It has been a few months since I saw it but there used to be a link to a guy who made beautiful gold and silver inlays on Ruger grips. I know he was in Erwin TN. Anybody got an Idea as to how I might find him?
