The P95 may be the finest polymer handgun ever made. If there is a more accurate, reliable and indestructible polymer handgun, I've yet to see it. Next time you field strip yours, check out the wall thickness of the chamber. It eats +p+ and Hertenberger then laughs in my face.
I'm curious if anyone knows of a way to increase the capacity of the sr45 mags? It would be nice if Ruger offered a 14 round option like Smith does for the M&P 45. I want to get one but I need a little more incentive. Thanks
Thanks Charlie. When I click the link it shows the plus 2 mec-gar base plates. If anyone is interested, these things fit many double stack 9/40 OEM And mec-gar mags. They fit Far more than they actually list. Very handy inexpensive way to increase capacity. P.S. Some users report a + 3 increase...
I think Ruger lists the same width on all 3 Pistols but are the mags the same width? I know the Mec-gar + 2 base plate adapter fits the 9/40 mags. I would like to know if it will fit the SR45 as well. These http://trt-tac.com/Mec-Gar-PLUS-2-basepad-black-plastic-226-P2.htm thanks
Did you get only 20 rounds? If you plan on using it in your carry piece it's always a good idea to run at least 4 or 5 mags (more if possible) thru it. You want to make sure it's reliable and accurate in your gun. If you like this type of round try Underwood ammo. Much better pricing Best of Luck
Another 2 penny's. Considering your history and preferences, think about a p95. I know you like the metal framed p series but the polymer frame on the p95 is about as close to alloy/steel as anything I've ever seen. Same manual of arms plus probably 7-8 times as many p95's out there (compared to...
Holy Thread resurrection Batman! Hello again Ruger faithful. Would anyone care to chime in on the evolution of the sr-45? Based on the feedback I received 16 months ago, I decided to hold off. Has Ruger made any upgrades/improvements to this pistol? Also curious about chamber support? Thanks...
