For a field gun I would go to a 77/44. I have gotten $250.00 for a solid replace ment stock.

Will take them @30.00 shipped.

I am a 44 collector and I switched to a 77/44 for my deer gun and have been pleased with it, especially the zyntel stock. Even if your gun is used it does carry a higher value to collectors. I have found few 44's in box. Even one I bought direct from ruger did not have the original box.

These guns where being sold through a dealer in georgia several years ago for $300 with mag & straps as police trade ins. I bought a couple in good condition. tried to order more within a week an were all sold out. I learned to buy rugers when they are common!

I will check my inventory, I may have some extra stocks.

I would use the williams sight. I am not keen on drilling and notching wood.

WTB: Ruger (marked) mini-14, 20 round "STRAIGHT" magazine. These were the early issue before the slight curve design.

Local shop has mark I with magazine release lever on left side . Looks factory. #15-72xxx. Does anyone have any info?

$1000-1200 is average. 4-5 years ago I was buying them @ 600-800. I have several. good investments.
