Thank you for the replies. I do not know what kind it is because we dug it up from my buddies front yard. The guy that used to live there owned the shooting store in town and when he would get a ripped bag he would dump it in his front yard :?: We probably dug up 150 lbs a few years ago.

I have approx 30 lbs of lead shot to cast bullets from but I havent had any luck finding out the hardness of it. Does anyone know what I should mix with it. I do not have a hardness tester yet. Thanks

I have not loaded any more yet but I definately know about too much flare. When we were setting it up there were a few ruined cases and they were NOT pretty. I also am not using a seperate powder funnel, it is the stage on the machine.

The bullets are .356. I have hardly any flare in the case. Next time I load I will try flaring the case a little more.
