Where to buy a birdshead grip frame for a single six

They can be had but they don't seem to be as easy to come by these days. I remember back when folks were buying the birdhead guns and finding out they really didn't like them. Converting them to plow-handle and selling them for around $100.00 to 150.00. These birdhead GFs fit these three single sixes but required some fit and finish.

But watch out, once you convert one you might get obsessed like some people and can't stop....

Great looking revolvers! I'd love to find a Bearcat shopkeeper too, they are hard to find at a decent price though.

I had to do a little light filing on the ears tops but the rest pretty much fit as designed. I did have to take a little off the end of the Bisley trigger to clear the guard but nothing major. The Bisley hammer I modified so I wouldn't have to cut the frame opening any additional. That way if I should ever decide to go back the the original trigger and hammer nothing will be 'out of place'.

So can you use the regular single six trigger and hammer on the birdshead grip?
