I went with the Williams peep sight set on my Marlin 336C.

The tang sights are definitely the coolest looking. Will you ever get past 1/4 of the way up??? Probably not.

here are c two pics both inexpensive sights. I just can't do $500 for s good sight for now. The elevation may only get changed couple times a year if tgat, for fun. Which one? I think the Marbles would be nice.

Figure on changing out front sight with a taller one. I get rid of the rear/mid barrel buckhorns or what ever you name them. 3 have peeps on receiver and on a 1892 has a tang. All lever rifles with peeps needed a taller front sight. As I recall so did the tang sighted 1892. The peeps and or tang sights will improve accuracy and easier on your eyes.
Skinner makes a good peep sight. I have one on my Henry Small Game Carbine

I've had skinner peeps on marlin 1894 44 mag. They are nice.
