My Ruger is my current go to 9mm plinker (until my CZ P10C SR gets here).

Of course I couldn't leave it stock. Did a few things to it.

Y'all are making it might difficult to stay away from the one I inspected a week or so ago. The dealer even cut the price so the pistol with tax would be less than the hang tag price. And I have a load of brass and cast bullets ready to load.....

I bought my CMD SR 1911 used and it has turned out to be a fine gun. When I first got it didn't go into battery fully. I found the extractor was way tight and after working a small amount off it and a 21 lb. recoil spring the issue vanished. I like Tripp mags and the Ruger one's. The Tripp mags seem to throw hollow points in the pipe better with the cupped out follower. It could stand for the sear to be fitted to the hammer a little better but is OK for now.
