Someone remind me what an RCS – G is

I know it's Ruger collectors series 10/22, but what was it for and why would it be special? I guess I'm having a brain fade on why I have one.

Since the Reference Guide hasn't been updated since 2010, it's likely a model produced after Chad did the last revision.

Since the Reference Guide doesn't show these later guns,, I'd just about bet the "RCS2" refers to;
Ruger
Collector
Series
2nd variation.

Don't know what the "G" would be for.

Just found out that there were four of these collector series and the fifth one is coming out this month. Just in case anyone's interested. They have some additional features over a regular 1022 and each of the series has got a different stock.

My guess is the "G" is in reference to the dark grey composite stock!

One of these was titled " man's best friend " a street sign with a lab dog drawing , another was " a fathers advice " . All had a $25 dollar shop ruger gift certificate in the box . Forget the two others ? Anyone have all 4 ? Another is soon going to be released.
