Has anyone used a sight pusher to remove the front sight and replace it with any kind of sight pusher. I'm changing some 10/22 sights to fire sights and don't like driving them in and out using a brass punch. Thanks
Before I got my pusher I researched a bit . The 10/22 front sight has a tighter fit than most guns . There is a bump on the bottom of the sight making it difficult to remove with hammer and punch. Now , There were guys sawing down thru the front sight to "weaken " it , then driving it out . Just not worth marking up the barrel or bending it to me , so I figure I may use the tool again ...
