Fits perfect. 7 1/2 inch barrell.Looks like you're a few inches short of filling that holster?
The fixed sight one is the most desirable especially the 5 1/2" barrel. They are used in SASS and were made for very few years compared to the adj. sight model. Not knowing much about them I declined buying a SS Old Army last week. Never fired.. It didn't have adj sights. If it had I probably would have bought it
I have never in all my years ever heard of anyone bending a Old Army handle! The Old Army charging handle is way more robust than any of the replica guns.I have a blued ROA with fixed sight. They aren't very robust IMO. I bent the charging handle using it to load. So now I load the cylinder out of the gun.

A round ball .454 over 30 grs fffgWTF were you trying to cram in there??? A jacketed 45-70 bullet over 45gr of powder???
Did you mistake a Ball Bearing for a lead ball??? I've rammed thousands of lead projectiles into the cylinders of various cheap knockoff Colts and Remington's and never bent the load lever. I would imagine the Ruger Variation would be far stronger.A round ball .454 over 30 grs fffg
