A local shop has this set of New Model Vaquero .45 Colts in a display case. They look factory test fired, a little soot around a few of the cylinder holes. No plastic boxes.
What is a realistic fair price?

Nice guns and that "soot" will clean off quite easily...we sold a set like that last year for $2300 and I got to keep the display case??? they did not want it??? go figure, it was an estate sale and the family was 'pleased'??? We thought they should be worth more, I believe Baron Tech., did the engraving..........

An auction for a pair over the last three months brought north of 22 bens. Another auction without the display case (but guns new with boxes) brought just shy of 7 bens each when sold separately... yes, the set broken up for the auction.
In my opinion, either was a great deal! When new these were just short of 39 bens MSRP.
