Ruger Mark II question

I've been collecting, strike that, accumulating Ruger 22 pistols for quite a while. Mostly Mark II and III's.

Has anyone ever seen a 10" blue Mark II that is drilled and tapped for scope mounts? Like on a Mark III

I am assuming there are some out there, but the D&T option came late in the MK-II era. I know SS came both ways, which is why assume blue did too.

Yes. I have one. From memory I think there were about 100 D&T. I also have two kmk10s that are D&T as well as most of the D&T Mark IIs.

Yes,, I've seen one. But 1gunsnotenough has an extensive collection AND knowledge about them. I defer to him.

The very last of the "Target" (adjustable sight) MKIIs all got factory D&T.

The label on the end of the box was stamped with a code designating factory D&T at the time of building (vs. later, or aftermarket).

IIRC, the mark was a "B," within a circle.

As contender said, 1gunsnotenough is the resident expert, and probably knows if that's the correct mark, off the top of his head.
