Been workin on an old beater 58 flattop 357 i got from Mr. Deerstalker.
Thorough cleaning and cold blue touch up.
I rounded the grip frame and had it sand blasted.
Polished the internals a little.
Lighter hammer spring.
Ground down some big ol target style grips to a more compact size.

Future plans include:
Gonna chamfer the cylimder this weekend
Hope to eventually add a 45 barrel and
Have cylinder reamed to 45 Colt
Super hammer

Then maybe:
Color case harden on frame
A good blue on barrel and cylinder
Either brass or steel grip frame
And some good grips

Ejector rod broke couple weeks back. It has a flat side machined in it. The replacement was totally round. It jammed on me today and wouldnt enter the chamber to eject the empty. So off it came and was "clearanced". It probably aint as pretty as factory but it'll hopefully at least function now.

Didn't get to chamfer the cylinder this weekend. Hope to this coming weekend.

It needs a bluing pretty badly. Rust discoloration galore.
