Other Than Ruger: My fix was a Marlin camp carbine in 45 acp. Installed a 21# spring and a blackjack buffer. Now I just have to wait for me to reload some lead and wait for a warmer day to visit the range. Merry Christmas to all, greg

Always thought those Marlin carbines were a really nice, handy little gun. My brother had one in 9mm and I wish I'd gotten it from him. See them occasionally now but with crazy prices on them. Kinda surprised those, as well as the Ruger equivilant never caught on.
