I sort of did this with my P89 frame, which included rounding the trigger-guard. And also ever so slightly rounded the corner of the muzzle end of the upper. Beyond that, I've never seen anything like what you are talking about.

Recently I beveled the right side of the Slide Release as seen in the pic below
