It's good news that the SR1911's have finally made it to Florida--albeit not my part of the state. In Pensacola I've only found one gun shop that's even seen one. It was an out-state-order for which they were processing the delivery. My LGS ordered one for me from Davidson's exactly 11 months ago and Davidson's will not provide any information on the status of the order (expected ship date, number or orders in line ahead of mine, etc). Every month I visit the LGS and listen while the owner calls to check on the status. The same applies to the LCR22 that was ordered last December.

I actually just found one online for $649. There was actually one in stock... until I bought it!
