Just bought a LNIB Ruger SP101 2.25 .357. It has the Crimson Trace front activation grips. Serial # shows the gun made in 2007. Paid $500 for it. May have been too much but I liked the feel of the gun. Any input welcome!

I think you did great, especially factoring the CT grips. There is a sp101 2.5" 357 for $475 or so at the local shop. Then you have to add taxes, background check, & paper. Of course it has standard grips. The little red dot is cool, don't own one here though.
Did you have to wear a mask and point a gun at them to get that price???

CTs always add $200 to the price around here so an sp101 with em goes for about $600.

I found the SP101 at a pawn shop in Odessa Tx. I traveled to Odessa for three weeks in a row. Each time I made an offer and they caved on the third time. It is a SA/DA.

I want a 3" SA/DA now. In .357, of course. Doesn't have to be STS grips, though. Add one more to the list of several hundred. LOL
