Same guy we got the the BKH34 back a while ,had factory ivories on it, I got the grips and recall Bob C got that gun, I "think "it was in the 17,000 range, then his son brought this one,BKH4 in the 18,000 range,got it in late 1959 from we were told, Avon hardware, here in Ohio ( gun shipped June 59) and he had the shop send it off to New York for "fatter" ivory grips, did NOT like the skinny factory ivories, these are 'thicker', and match as we show in the picture....thats what we thought was "neat"......as we had a set of almost the "exact" style,thick to, for a Colt Single action Army and they too came out of New York 'specal order' for a shop over here in Cleveland in the late 1950's................sold them at the OGCA
