Cleaning tip for .22 pistols and revolvers

I use pipe cleaners for cleaning my .22s. I buy those with the Nylon bristles sold in tobacco shops.

To clean the chambers, bend the pipe cleaner in half, then bend out two "arms" to form a sort of "T", with the stem longer. Dip the stem in Hoppe's No. 9 and insert it into the chamber. Use the two "arms" as handles and twist the cleaner to scrub the chamber.

Straight, they get into the space between barrel stub and top strap.

I use pipe cleaners from Walmarts craft supply area to clean small holes etc on my 10/22s and Ruger Mark pistols. They are less than a dollar a pack of 25 and about 10" long.
