Bolt Stop Falls Out on PC9

I've had the gun for a few years and love it. I was installing the Magpul Backpacker stock on it the other day. Bolt locked open to take the barrel off. Removed the trigger group and the bolt stop pin just falls out, and the bolt stop falls out as well. With the stop still engaged there is no tension in the pin. I don't recall having to do this because I haven't shot the rifle in a while, but should I let the bolt go forward before dropping the trigger assembly?

Disregard. Disassembly video says to release bolt before dropping the trigger. Been so long since I took it apart
