The article isn't the most flattering account of our beloved P series but worth a read.

Long live the P guns!

At least someone is still talking about the P-guns. What do they say "any press is good press"

Keep the P-guns alive!!

A good read indeed. I think my P series are much more comfortable and reliable than the later poly P series or the newer SRs.... just sayin.

They were/are a good gun at a fair price. You rarely hear a complaint about reliability on any P-series. I own an 89, 95, and 90. The article says that all P-series production was stopped in 2011, but the P95 is still in production.

Definitely NOT out of production---just picked up a P95 with a test fire date of 6-23-13

Actually thinking of trading my M&P .357 for the other P95 they had in the store----not big on striker fired guns and .357 is stupid expensive.

I still enjoy shooting my original P85. It is not the most accurate 9mm that I own but it is accurate enough. Plus, I have big hands and prefer large handguns.

Thanks for the link, Rammer...I have never seen that. Got a couple of old P90's that are built like tanks. Not as sexy as the plastics but dead reliable.

I love the p90 and p97 I have. I kept those two when I sold off the p collection to expand to different things.

I use to send emails to Ruger all the time requesting they improve some things and crank up the p90 again.

Go, P-guns! Love my 89. My first pistol and second handgun ever.
Wish the P345 was made ambidextrous as well, would have definetly bought one while they were still around.
