Ruger blackhawk internal lock

Hondo44 Thanks for the picture of the offending part, now I know what to look for. Don`t you know BILL RUGER was rolling over in his grave after His old company did this.

The worst part if the lock was that you had to remove the grip panel to lock or unlock the lock. There is a dimple on the back of those plastic grips. It's there to mark a place for you to drill a hole in the grip panel so you can work the lock without removing the panel. Great idea huh ?????

My biggest beef with them is they actually stick out wider than the grip frame just a little. If you make a set of grips they have to be inlet around the silly lock.
That and it's just silly extra weight.

When I was making grips I made a router jig to do those recesses.
