I have a beautiful set of custom made stocks made for an "old model" Vaquero. Long a go I sold the Vaquero and would like to get these stocks back on a Ruger. I know I can get another "old model" Vaquero but I was wondering if these stocks would fit any other Ruger model(s)?

Thanks!!

Bob

Here's a pic of the stocks.

If these grips were made for an Original Vaquero,,, with a 2 digit prefix serial number,,, then yes,, they will fit Blackhawks as well. In fact,, they should fit any with the XR3-RED type g/f.

Any with the XR3-RED grip frame would include all OMs made after 1962 (exc. SBH), and all NM single sixes, sevens, nines and tens, all Blackhawks that are not Flat Tops, SBHs that have barrels of 5 1/2" or shorter, and all Black powder Old Armys.

And if didn't have any of those, I'd buy one just to use those gorgeous grips!
