new belly buster

Well I dun did it.
Ordered one of those Vaquero 44mag birds head grip belly guns.
Anyone with experience, should I consider any upgrades, loads [ I shoot magnum cases in mag chambers]
Holsters etc?????
Should be here next week.

Is that with a 3.75 barrel? I have one in .45 ACP and a Uberti version in .45 Colt.
That .44 Mag will be a hand full!

Well, if you choot .44 Special your belly should be just fine. Of course we'll need pics so we can drool some more.

I have had mine for about a month, now. Shot white box 240 gr and HSM 305 gr Bear Loads in it. I honestly think the Bear Loads had less felt recoil. It does shoot about 6" low at 30 feet. Once I pick my normal load, I will take it out, along with a file, and adjust the TALL front sight. Be prepared for a sore knuckle, on your second finger!

Taking mine back out tomorrow, with 1 box of 50 rounds, to play a little.

I just got my Belly Buster ...
Looks just like any other SS ruger , trigger just like you would expect.
Given the weight and size , I may call this my "Hammer"
Hope to shoot it soon.
