Been looking locally for another 44 mag but had an offer for a 45LC I couldn't turn down! Post 3 screw, pre warning label very low round count.

Pretty sure no acp cylinder, but my brother is trying to talk me into selling this to him. He wants a convertible to go with his SR1911 full size!

Very nice! I made a lowball bid on one just like that a little over a year ago, on GB. 1976 model with the 200th roll mark. Ended up winning it for $400. Lettered July 1976. It had an ugly dried out Pachy grip and a modified front sight. The grip was easy to fix. Mango by Chig's. Contemplating the front sight issue… thinking of a brass bead. If that doesn't work out I'll see about sending it to Fermin.

I've had 44 mags so long I almost forgot how much I do like a 45. This actually being my second, had a Vaquero once. First time I had to learn about base pin jump.
I have or had a set of Ajax imitation ivory's I think would dress up this thing a little bit?!?

Nice! I'm a .45 Colt guy myself.... Only the .44 Special has 'almost' as much appeal to me. :) . Enjoy your new side arm.

My favorite whitetail handgun for many years is my Bisley .45 with a Tasco ProPoint dot scope mounted in a Wiegand base. Makes the heaviest loads pleasant to shoot, with accuracy much farther than I care to shoot. .44 Mag? Who needs it? ;-)
