22 mag handgun bandwagon

Don't get me wrong. I love rimfire as much as anyone and have been a huge fan of the .22 mag forever. Use it as my main varmint rifle and have always felt it was way under rated as such. But saying that I am fed up with trying to find ammo and when I do I could pay $25 a box for the Remington accutips that my Savage happens to like. That is absolutely ridiculous! When what's left of my .22 mag ammo stash is used up I will find me a nice .223 so I can actually get or reload ammo for it.

I realize this is slightly off topic but the whole rimfire ammo thing has really touched a nerve lately.
